Episode 07: Behind the Masc.

This week I am joined by Francisco DeCristo. Francisco was born and raised in Queens to two immigrant parents from Brazil and El Salvador. With a Masters Degree in Public Health he works as an adjunct professor at Lehman College and as a Program Manager at Montefiore Hospitals where he develops programming in the health and wellness sphere. When not working, he loves to read, workout, and meditate. 

In this episode we talk about why porn isn’t a substitute for sex education, the lasting impacts of gendered double standards, the importance of having role models that look like you, the pressures of masculinity, and more.
