Episode 16: Mother Daughter Magic Part II

This week I am joined by Kristina Lopez Adduci. Kristina is the founder and CEO of House of Puff, a cannabis lifestyle brand. Her previous venture was Art Zealous, an art media company. After personally experiencing the medical benefits of cannabis, Kristina conceived House of Puff to create a new high culture by making cannabis consumption devices that she wanted for herself. A Latina who’s committed to social equity, especially in the cannabis industry, she is a member of the Minority Cannabis Business Association, the Drug Policy Alliance, and NORML. Kristina has also curated art for Workville in NYC and served on the Whitney Museum Contemporary Board and the Guggenheim Acquisitions Council. An increasingly frequent guest on Cheddar TV, she has most recently launched a companion editorial site for her brand and is the on-air presenter for At Home with House of Puff on YouTube.

In this episode we talk about growing up in Dr. Salas-Lopez’s house & talking openly about sex with your mom from a doctor’s perspective, the pitfalls of getting sex ed in a catholic school, the importance of being able to ask adults questions in sex ed, having all your friends come to your mom for sex ed, how learning about bodily autonomy leads to confidence, the lasting benefits we get from quality sex education, the importance of LGBTQ inclusive sex ed, how Kristina plans to raise her daughters, and more.

You can follow Kristina and her work online at houseofpuff.com, on Instagram @KristinaAdduci and @TheHouseofPuff, and on Youtube At Home with House of Puff.
